Purple Leaf Plum: Prunus cerasifera 'Atropurpurea'

It is Spring. In Oregon, USA that means blossoms are in bloom. Though this specimen was found along a country road no where near a farmhouse this is a cultivated, ornamental cherry plum that is often used in landscaping.

SC,
Very nice photo with great colours and sharpness. Good lighting effect and just the right exposure. The only thing you haven't captured for us is the aroma.

nice pic, but I think this is an ornamental plum called - Prunus cerasifera Atropurpurea. TFS Ori

Hi Davidson,
Splendid shot of these charming flowers with such lovely soft colours and sharp details. Great management of the harsh natural lighting and perfect exposure control. Excellent POV and composition. Kudos.
TFS.
