Hi Wei, the composition of your egret is very good, with him posed well on the right side, and looking into space on the left. I like how you've left the scene natural looking through your choice of aperture, so we see the bullrushes muted behind him. Colour is good, it might be just a tad dark though. Also, many of us have never seen an egret, so some notes on the bird, and the environment, and maybe how you got it might be interesting. With respect to the darkness, I thought we might be able to do something about that in the sandbox, so I've gone off to look for an alternative for you.

Okay, I see you don't have workshops enabled. Well, if you have photoshop elements or CS2 or 3 (not sure about other softwares) what you can do is you can add an overlay layer, set the background to 50% grey, then paint the egret with a white 5% opacity brush. This will lighten the bird. I would then sharpen with USM (15, 20, 1) and then with Smart Sharpen (115, .5, 1) and hopefully that should give you some improvement.

bonne image de cette aigrette, même s'il est dommage que la queue et les pattes soient coupées. Asssez bonne netteté, composition sobre.
