[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
A pair of white-tailed deer stroll off into the morning fog at our local nature preserve.

It's good to be back, friends. One of my first shots with my new XTi. I loved my old HP 945, but the flash died, and I was severely limited, especially with indoor shots. And then I found a deal too good to pass up. Later, I hope to add a zoom and improve on the kit quality with which I'm beginning. Right now, I'm just busy learning the new camera and finding out its capabilities

Hooray for you and hooray for light. It has this kinda of imaginary world quality to it...the path which is safe and even safer creatures just seeing what is coming their way. Tres Cool Jim..I for one and glad your back and have just now stumbled across you!

Hallo Jim
This scene is captured with the feeling of mystery. The details are just great and there is such a lot to appreciate in this image. This is actually a PPPP – Pretty, perfect picture photo. I just love the mist hanging between the darkness of the trees. It actually looks like a painting and I very much appreciated this one. The track between the trees is in my opinion great and the two deers in the far distance adds a special touch to this lovely image. Thanks for sharing.
Kind regards
Anna
ps. I was just wondering about the time you have taken the photo. It looks like early morning and you say early morning but on your photo info it shows the time as 19:14. Am I missing something or looking at the wrong information?

Pretty good, especially considering the lighting conditions. Gary
