A touching moment captured in the happy times, Bob. So long as your spirit soars with Sol, you will have those happy times over and over again.
The morning view in your mountains on this day in June 2006 is simply divine.
I love the colours in this beautiful picture.
Thanks and wishing you a grand summer,
Ram

Hi Bob!
Touching picture, full of emotions...
Touching notes, full of emotions...
Isn't life only worth to be liven when it's full of emotions?
Thank you for sharing them with us!

Hello Bob,
I hope the sun keeps rising high for you and warming your blood afresh!
This is, metaphorically speaking, a warming of the blood in the sky! Everything awakens and warms in response to the sun! a wonderful photograph illustrating the new day!
Kind regards,
Bev :-)
Many thanks for your comments on 'A Real Poser'.

Wow Bob,
A very stunning colorful morning has been captured by you! I have seen such tranquility from Himalayas or at high seas while serving on board warships. You have the knack of freezing every spell of His into a memorable shot for all of us. TFS.
Have a great day ahead.

Hi Bob
The assurance that everything will be better tomorrow holds an immense promise for us to embrace especially those of us who have entered the autumn or winter of our years. This image has some of that pledge locked up within and just waiting for the right moment to escape. The promise of light that is slowly emerging from behind the mountains and the clouds will soon overflow the darkness in the foreground and bring along that life giving and sustaining energy which all living creatures need to survive. It did then (2006) and would even now (2008) put a spring in your zing.
Magnificent colours, visual impact, joyful memories, and captivating notes.
Well done MF and TFS.
Regards
Loot

Hi Bob,
As I read the lines I heard Cat Stevens singing. Your words were as beautiful as Eleanor Farjeon's. And your picture illustrates the words perfectly. A magnificent sunrise with splendid colors.

The happiness has a sprinkling of the melancholy, of wishfulness and wistfullness(if there is such a word).
A shot that speaks volumes...And yes, the sun does make all our worlds go round, isn't it?

Hi Bob,
Outstanding shot of daybreak and the riot of colours on the sky looks so gorgeous and beautiful. Doesn't each sunrise bring so much hope and promise? It does bring in new life too and as the days go by we all go through the process of transformation. Our body will not be the same everyday and we will always tend to look back of the years gone by, little realising that the PRESENT is what we live in and there is no yesterday nor tomorrow. Have you pondered how different you were when you did click this shot? Hahaha. Anyway, a great image and a superb composition. Kudos.
TFS.

Hello Bob:
Uu burning sky, a sky that stained the ground red, as if they burn, but not only gives color and life and she, land, it decualve charming landscape to compensate for the fact that gives vitality to every living in both the animal kingdom as vegental. Your friend Bob has embodied this scene of a masterly manner.
A hug
Josep
PS. Thank you for your comments on my photos, I think they are undeserved.

Ah, for once there is proof that once in a while you are able to crawl out of bed with your camera before I do - even if this photo wasn't taken within the past few days.
The words to the song really bring forth the feelings that this photo evokes. There's a serenity about it. It is also a reminder that everything has it's dark moments and if patient, followed by the beautiful moments. In the dark days when the world seems so forbidden and harsh, photos like this generate hope. This is superb; thanks for brightening my day with this beautiful capture.
(By the way, that's one of my favorite songs!)

And this new day still exists for our eyes to contemplate. Funny you picked this song of Cat Stevens because I used to sing it as my prayer of the morning! That's how I liked it. And your picture sure is one to accompany those kind and simple words. Nice memories of yours to share with us. As for your bones, sorry to hear that, but mine also hurt but have nothing wrong with them! I feel like a wreck and 90 years old when I go out and work in the garden but I will drive my "car" even into old age to see such beauty again as this picture. Thanks for your words, Bob, always good to read them,
Francine

Hello Bob,
Wonderful play of morning light!
And the view reminds me strongly of what we can see over here once in a while, as my sunrises always are more colourful than my sunsets...
The simplicity of composition is appealing, a lovely atmosphere!

Mr Bob
My friend from over the pond has been bust as ever I see in my absence. Terrific colours here that feel almost like Turkish Delight, what more should a man need to set him on his path for the day ahead.

Bob, I read the description, and I would like to congratulate you on this fine piece of art! You described this one so well, the moment the sun first sees you, a great time it is! Thw wilderness and rushing water, that reminds me of the good old days, and as I recall, I am starting to realize that even though some mountains are higher, but are more crowded, it was the ones that had a more nature feel, those were the good ones. Thanks for reminding me and all of us of these great things! I would also like to say very nice pinks in this photo, very very well composed! Thanks for sharing, your friend Josh Lewis.
