[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This is a photo of Bonanza Peak, taken on September 1, 2007 from Sahale Arm. The lighting at the time seemed interesting, so I thought it would make a nice photo, plus Bonanza Peak is 9,514 feet. Bonanza Peak is located near Lake Chelan, near Glacier Peak area which is a volcano that is a little over 10,000 feet. I used picasa 2 to resize this photo, plus I sharpended it a little bit so that the peak has a sharper look.

Good morning, Joshua!

Thank you for this magnificient mountain view. The lighting is superb, the mountain beautiful, the emotions are reawakened...

This time, the picture is fine also from the technical point of view. But let me give you this advice: if you are interested in photography and if you want to take full advantage of your pictures (and your good camera) it would be appropriate to use a better software. Photoshop elements, which is not expensive, could be a good choice. I never have tried out Picasa and don't know from personal experience what it is worth, but I know that the software for the postprocessing is as important as the original quality (camera and lens) of the picture.

Kind regards

Markus
