[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This is another pov of the green heron I posted 2 days ago. I didn't boost color on this one as much (if at all), but did use crop and selective sharpening. I think this is probably a more pleasing angle. You tell me! Thanks for looking!

Hello Penny
You have captured a fine scene here..I love the lazy leg seemingly dripping off the wire..
The Herons head is a bit soft on focus though to be honest..looking at your shooting details you had a very very low shutter speed...Im not sure if you took the shot in aperture priority by your choice of f8..( which was the right choice )..You also used iso 160...If you had used iso 400 then you would have raised the shutter speed considerably which would have given sharper details..
I hope you dont mind me being honest?
It is still however a very fine capture and I am so pleased your getting a bit of time to get out and about with the camera....(its a big learning curve with a really good slr and lense as you have)

Hello Penny. Beautiful shot with one leg lazily slips down to relax. Stunning sharpness and detail. Well done and best regards. jusni

Penny,

The bird's pose is priceless. It looks like this bird is taking it easy and relaxing for a change. That's a great capture.
I think that this POV works a bit better here. The green background helps to bring the details of the bird's plumage to attention. I also like the way you composed this particular shot. Very nicely done.

Best Regards,

Martin
