| This is a photo of a Red Flower and the Cascade Valley as seen in the back ground. The green area which is the closest and is on the right is part of the trail to coming up to Cascade Pass, North Cascades. The distant one in the back on the right is The Traid, and the ridge on the left is Johannesburg Mountain, which is a towering giant! I used automode to capture this one, and sharpend this photo with picasa 2 to get a slight more sharpness on the flower. I also used export mode on picasa 2 to be able to fit onto treknature. Enjoy! :-) |

Hi Josh
Wow...awesome shot. I like the colour on the right hand side of the image against the contrast of the mountain on the left. Nicely seen and captured.
Cheers
Sue
You are Blessed by our Creator, to take such wonderful images...Before I was a Catholic, I was for a short time a Pastor myself...very sort time...long story, but I can now see that you are on a mission to take wonderful images of this earth in which we as caretakers are given responsibility for conserving...Very well seen Josh.

joshua,
very well composed....i like the inclusion of the red flower into the frame...helps to anchor the eyes before drifting into the frame.

great scenery and nice shot, I don't know if you can control the aperture of your camera, but if you had your aperture closed all the way down, have the f stop number as high as possible, both the foreground flower and the background would be equal in sharpness. As it is right now, the focus is mostly on the background with the flower being slightly out of focus. It's still a nice shot, great scenery, when did you take this?

Hi Joshua!
Excellent composition!
Maybe it would have been better if you focused on the flower but maybe not...
Still I like it very much!
Thanks for sharing
