Hi Evelynn,
Awesome shot, must have been such a rush to see this beast in the flesh. Really like the colour of the dead vegetation here and also the colour of his glossy looking coat too. He does indeed look a healthy specimen. Excellent eye contact and pose...in fact the more i look at this, the more impressd i am. Very well done!

Hi Evelynn. As you say what a fine looking animal. the huge size it is it must have eaten very well. It has its eyes fixed on you with a stare. Looking at it head on you can see the large nose but small ears fot its size. good detail and natural colours. TFS.

Fantastic shot Evelynn,
I love the pose you,ve captured. This guy appears to be very healthy and has a great looking coat to prove it.
If you look very close you can see some green shoots just starting to emerge, but for the most part it seems to be very dry at this time of the year.
Beautiful image with great composition!! Must have been extremely exciting to view this big fella.

He exudes health, from the sheen of his fur.
Fantastic sharpness and exposure to bring that out.
The eye contact is a bit unsettling!!!
A little too close for comfort.

Terrific shots of this bear - both this one and the previous!
The two poses captured are exceptional and the technical part of the shots is spot-on.
This full-frontal POV here is really excellent and it shows the impressive posture of this grizzly.

Wow, amazing portrait, Evelynn. Just a wonderful full frame, and at 300mm!!! Nice light and DoF. My person taste would be to crop a bit from the top, 'cause the contrast draws my eye away from that wonderful bear.

This is a very stunning photo. You got really close to this very proud and healthy bear. The eye contact you have here is wonderful and makes it feel as if there was more then only eye contact. A kind of sixth sense. Love the details and the wonderful colors.
