| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
| This digiscoped image of an eastern cottontail rabbit was made with the help of a Nikon spotting scope. Cottontails are often photogenic nuisances, devouring whole gardens in the summer and chewing the bark off the trunks of small trees and shrubs in the winter. The judicious use of varmint fencing has mitigated the problem considerably, so they are still welcome in my backyard. Since they are willing to come out in the open, it is relatively easy to get good photographs of them. |

Hi Gary,
This is a very nice portrait of this cute animal! Details and exposure are very good. We have some around here as well but I might say that they are shyer than yours :) Thanks,
Claudine

Hi Gary,
This bunny is so cute! Although they are nuisances, we can't help loving them :)
The sharpness is perfect, you can see every detail in the fur.
Beautiful natural colours, great composition

Hi Gary. What a good close up of the Cottontail. You have captured first class detail in the fur with natural looking colours. Good use of the light giving a shine in the eyes. well done tFS.
Nick..
