Ciao Bob,
un drammatico ricordo che si rivive attraverso questa bella immagine; spero, o meglio ne sono certo, la natura ha già reagito a questa catastrofe. Rimane un interessante documentazione accompagnata dalle sensibili note ...

hello Bob
excellent image of the life in nature, with forest fires
we loose trees but then it regenerate new trees with the time,
i love your 2 steps (or layers) image with in the foreground
the forest alive and in the background the forest dead by the fire,
TFS

Hey Bob,
Nice image of one of your special places. It seems almost every year we hear of another wilderness area that has gone up in flames. It's great you can still remember this place as it once was, this can never be taken away.

Hi, Bob,
lovely picture with a tinge of sadness and a tinge of hope. i like the contrast between the layer of surviving trees in the background and the green forest in the foreground. it is always sad to see how fire destroys lives...but it is encouraging to see the power of healing and rebuilding.
many thanks for your pointers and encouragement all along.
have a nice day.
chrs,
Man Yee

Hi Bob!
Very good documentary picture. This is very sad image, as alweys when forest is burning. Line of silhouettes of trees remainds me crosses on cementary. Sad, but very well taken and interesting.

Hello Bob,
It is disturbing image of an aftermath caused by the wild fire. In Himalayas I have seen these happening frequently during summer season with phenomenal distruction of flora & fauna. Grand photo-journalism with heart touching notes. TFS.

Hi Bob
I'm really sorry to hear about all these fires :(( I know i've seen one last year near Tahoe and that, too, devastated a lot of wild forest.
This is also a very touching post to, reading your note, and knowing that this is your wilderness...im truly sorry for it.
The shot itself shows just that, and technically it's very good. The high POV is great to show the far away ridge and give you a terrific perspective, too.
It's also a very good "temporal", showing the before in front and the after behind.
All-in-all, a very moody and sad shot, but definitely a touching post.
Cheers, TFS and take care
Horia

Hi Bob,
The point of view takes us toward the top of the mountain under the haze of smoke. The evergreens in the foreground are like a line breaker between the mountain and the valley. There is a good contrast between the colors. Have a nice day.
