Good detail on the plumage and a nice out of focus background. This is what I call a beady eye which you have captured well.

Where in Portland did you run across this fellow? Looks like you got pretty close. How much did you crop? The image is sharp with lots of detail and spot on focus on the eye. It's super.

Great detail and sharpness of the Plumage. The BG is distant and Out of Focus. The tight composition is good as it adds to the detail of the subject.
