| Unique among the world's seven species of pelicans, the Brown Pelican is found along the ocean shores and not on inland lakes. It is the only dark pelican, and also the only one that plunges from the air into the water to catch its food. |

Hi Bill,
A touch blurred but a lovely capture in mid flight. I like its pose and the colours are very vibrant and attractive.Looks like it was a beautiful day.

Bill,
Very nicely done. The front of the bird came out a bit blurred - I think for a flight shot I'd try to go for a faster shutter speed which always helps (maybe f/5.6 instead of f/8 to get your camera 'snapping' faster) Other than that, the perspective and composition work well here. TFS.
Best Regards,
Martin
This is a great in flight Bill.
Good rich colour and a n ice background to go with it.
