This water lily bloom epitomizes the glorious spirit that lies resting within all of us. Let it shine for all the world to see.

I took this at Longwood Gardens, Kennett Square, PA, USA. last year. As far as I know this is not a hybrid water lily. Taken hand-held with extended 12X zoom lens on a rather bright, sunny day.

Stunning! The Water Lily is perfect - the details of the petals are magnificent. Beautifully composed against the green leaves which have a lovely waxy appearance.
