The background blur is distracting the well focused forward flower I do practice this by moving left or right to find a dark background for my foreground, how is this idea hence it is beautifully framed nice crisp focus..well done..

Hi Alan. Mamcg's comment about the white blurred background directly behind the flower is a valid one, and usually easily avoided, but this is an exquisitely evocative image all the same. The overall tone is so peaceful, it evokes a feeling of absolute silence and stillness, like the deepest forest. Stunning.

The flowers are in such an unusual position, and they are so lovely. This ends up being quite a uniqe image. The rain is so nice on them, too. Nice work, Alan!
