Almost abstract, just two parts ,earth and sky. I like this kind of nude picture.
You are looking for a latin word: I think it is "requiescat" used in the formula RIP, "requiescat in pace". I had 7 years of latin at high-school :-(

Little advice - talk to Microsoft and they'll buy this image for a wallpaper in next Windows 2007 :-) I like this kind of ascetic images. Simply composition and only two dominant colour. Good work!

Hello Bob,

This is the sort of scene which makes you wonder where the sky ends! It is beautiful in its simplicity!
How easy it is to draw attention to something if that is your desire! The eyes cannot stay away from that darker patch on the hillside to the right!

Good color and technical quality.

I like minimalist imagery like this. I would be tempted to clone out that tiny bit of dark hills that distracts slightly from the overall minimalist effect.

So we have to give partial credit to Ron for this beautiful scene! Simplicity at its best. Not only are the colors sensational but the details of the dried grass are wonderful. I'd love to see more like this.

Hey Bob,
Nice to see the camera back to work again. One thing for sure, it was never pointed at a sky as blue and cloud free as this one. You know better then anyone at the amount of cloud cover we seem to get around here because of the lake affect.
I'm looking forward to seeing some more of your beautiful scenery from the western coast. This one is a dandy!! TFS.

Hi Bob,

There is a good contrast between the blue of the sky and the golden color of the field. The point of view leads our eyes to infinity. the image is clear and sharp. The scenery is giving a sensation of serenity. Have a nice day.
