The sight of these ducks -- and, yes, geese, too -- sporting and skittering alongside the crest of the dam this morning tickled my sometimes quirky sense of humor...
I doubt there are surfer inclinations and instincts among the avian crowd, but the fellow near the post surely appears to be in for a ride! Notice all the others are lined up behind, seeming spectators to gaze upon the spectacle, but from a respectful and safe distance.
While I watched, none sailed over the dam, and none took wing at the last second. But quite a few of the birds played it right on the edge :) |

I'll wager some are wondering about the bridge..I'm not..I see the thought image you are projecting with words an din picture..there is no way you could have just posted this without telling us what happened...cool...and even a slight bonus of changing colour in the tree...Nice Jim!
