[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
As you can plainly see, I've been on a squirrel kick. Okay, so I might be a little nutty. I do have other photos and they will be uploaded, but one thing I've noticed about squirrels is that they have an ability to cheer me up - and that's why I focus on them.

This squirrel, to me, seems to have a smile on his face. I found him in a park and he did not seem the slightest bit annoyed that he was given a peanut that lacked salt. In fact, he quickly ate the one I gave him and politely waited for another. I was more than happy to oblige. This time, I was smart enough to leave doggy at home in order to discourage a game of fetch I did not want.

Right after I snapped this capture, I found the woodpecker that I posted the other day. I'm still going through those files and will have those in a few days along with some dragonflies I also captured.

I'm still putting my camera through paces - and joy of joys, my other camera came back from the shop, so now I have two - yes, I'm giggling knowing I have both of them now!

Enjoy your evening.
Kathy

Oh Kathy,

This is just beautiful, I can see the squirrel new exactly where you were, excellent eye contact, love the POV, no doubt down at ground level, detail is superb, and the f/5.6 has isolated this furry little creature perfectly, lovely work, t.f.s

All the best Rick :)

Another great shot Kathy,
He really seems to be interested in you. Maybe he thinks you are going to steal his snack.
Composed nicely with just the right exposure and very natural coloration. I love to see them with their tails all curled up like that.

I have just viewed your photos for the first time and am amazed at the sharpness that you achieve. Every hair on this squirrel is in perfect focus and your use of the natural lighting is superb. TFS.
