[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
These Common Milkweed seeds have broken out of their seed pod and are ready to fly. They are well adapted for flight on the most subtle of breezes.

I think that in order for us to be able to fly, to soar above the world, we must concentrate less on our burdens and more on our blessings... lighten up... joy is a choice.

I took this photo yesterday at Landis Valley Museum... an outdoor museum in Lancaster, PA, USA... filled with memories of our agrarian
past and all that agrarianism implies. Hand-held and auto everything.

Some PP work to appease the inner eye. :)

Hello Larry,
I didn't know the Milkweed had such beautiful seeds! Excellent close-up showing sharp details and pleasant colours in a fine composition.
TFS and regards, Ulla

Bonjour Larry,
Très belle publication finement détaillée et délicatement colorée.
A bientôt sur TN pour de nouvelles aventures.

I love the pattern of seeds with their delicate gossamer wings. The sharpness and contrast is wonderful. A wider aperture may have rendered the fence even more out of focus and unnoticeable. It's a nice shot. Thanks for posting it.

Hi Larry,

Common milkweed but a most uncommon photo. The seeds with their angel wings are captured perfectly. I would have had such an urge to blow on them and watch them fly away. Beautiful composition and beautiful notes.

Hi Larry. This is a good picture of the seeds all ready for the flight. As you say just waiting for the first wind to send them on their way. You have taken them with good detail. well done TFS.
