Hello Howard, c'est magnifique cette photo d'oiseau mouche. Compte tenu de la vitesse des battements des ailes la vitesse de la prises de vue devrait etre superieure au 2000 iéme !! C'est incroyable. Je crois savoir que pour irriguer en sang les muscles pectoraux qui commandent le mouvement de l'aile , la frquence des battements du coeur peut atteindre 800 par seconde !!Félicitations Didier.

I am waiting anxiously to try a few shots myself of this wonderful species with the 20D, and since I have it, they haven't come around. Hmmmm.
Great detail, especially sweet, are the tiny feet held in front, and the purple throat.

Brilliant, just brilliant Howard. I bet you were very pleased with yourself when you looked at this on the screen.
There is nothing to critique, you show the blurred wings, you've enough (flash)light on the throat & eye. Head, bill, body, tail and feet are sharp and in focus, great background.
