[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This is just beyond the line of sight of the Fox River. The landscape of fall is a fascinating one, and here close to the river bank, ferns proliferate and then burst into a colorful spectacle during the first nippy days of October.

Regrettably, I can't identify the specifies of this partiuclar fern, but I'll be happy to update this note if someone else can?

This is quite colorful. I like the way you have caught the differing hues of ferns. The composition is good and the overall impact is quite pleasing

I think the red foliage is sumac not a fern???? Sumac are so gorgeous in the fall but can be very invasive in a garden. I like the gradation of color in your image.

Wonderful Autumn shot Jim,
Love the beautiful fall colors you've captured and the way you composed this image. I'm pretty sure this is Sumac, we have it growing all around our area. I actually posted a shot of it a few weeks ago. Very nicely done!! TFS.
