Rose Fountain Grass, Pennisetum setaceum
This is an ornamental grass that easily escapes cultivation. I found it growing on the side of the road.
1/200 @ f4.5, ISO 50, 45.11 mm.
Cropped for composition, added 10 pixel border by extending canvas. Minor distractions cloned out of background. Painted the inflorescence at lower left to lower brightness. Gamma -.2-, brightness -5, contrast +1 using Serif PhotoPlus 6. |

A really nice view of the grass with the sun shining through it, Bill. It's nice to see the shades of purple.
Very nice capture of this lovely and interesting light. These grasses make such wonderful abstracts!
