This was taken at Battleground lake when we were fishing from our boat. This big guy thouht he would do a little fishing him self.

dear tom, wonderful shot of an eagle. extremely sharp, this is not easy from a boat. tfs.

Still hanging out there are they Tom...With lack of appropriate lens now I cannot get in close and so far none have landed in my back yard:-) so good show and classic America symbol so I assume most poses to be Classic as well.

Hi Tom,
what a beaut this one is and you have captured the bird very well with good details and natural colour.Bald eagles are my favorite raptors with their large size and serious looking faces.This is yet another one for my favorites theme beyond the allotted amount.Thanks for this sharp looking symbol of freedom. Tom, your eagle shots are incredible!
I would be absolutely thrilled to be able to just see an eagle like this up close in the wild. I had a chance this summer to view a few, but they were always from a distance.
This photo is exceptionally sharp and detailed. I love the pose you managed to capture, and the colors are very natural looking. TFS.

What a beautiful capture of a bald eagle.
They are exciting to see in the wild,and you managed a wonderful capture.
The POV and DOF are excellent.
I really like the rich colours and the deep greens really contrast the plumage well.
Very good detail.
