Voice Text
"poor Sam Peabody, Peabody, Peabody", "tseep"

INTERESTING FACTSThe White-throated Sparrow was first described in 1789 by Johann Friedrich Gmelin, a German naturalist, botanist and entomologist.
It comes in two color forms: white-crowned and tan-crowned. The two color forms are determined by genetic differences, and are unique among birds.
Individuals almost always mate with a bird of the opposite morph. Males of both color types prefer females with white stripes, and both kinds of females prefer tan-striped males.
A group of sparrows has many collective nouns, including a "crew", "flutter", "meinie", "quarrel", and "ubiquity" of sparrows.

Hello Angela !
Wow, this is a cute little bird ! I like his colors, specially that little yellow spot over his beak. His pose is beautiful, too. There are nice details on the plumage, splendid composition, and I also like your BG very much - branches and sky blurred with lovely colors. Very well done !
Valerie.

Hallo Angela
An absolutely delightful bird with a lovely combination of colours in its feathers. The black and white stripes on its head, complimented with the blotches of yellow in between are really eye-catching. It is a tiny bird with delicate and elegant features. I love the pose in which you captured it. It almost looks as if it proudly pushed out its chest for the time you photographed it. A well composed, well focused and super sharp image. Thanks for sharing.
Best regards.
Anna
