Hi Angela. Not to sure about the flowers ID. But its a fine close up with the water droplets on the flower. Good detail and colours. I shall have a look in my books to see if i can help. well done TFS.

This solitary little flower is very beautiful. The color is gorgeous and the details are razor sharp. The water droplets are a nice bonus. I love the placement of the flower surrounded by the grass. The composition is marvelous.

You've captured very sharp detail and beautiful coloring of the Blue Violet. Love the droplets of water and the diagonal composition of the grasses in the blurred BG. Nice work!!

Hallo Angela
This is really beautiful and my kind of photograph. The purple flower displays well against the green background. Adding the water droplets on the petals, add to making this a great image. I also like the violet coloured veins seen so well on the inside of the flower. I have added it to my personal theme "My purple obsession" as that is where it rightfully belongs. Thanks for sharing this very original image, but indeed a very special one. Best regards.
