High tide, the water is too deep for feeding, and the storks get some rest. They like the seawall, every so often some kind fisherman will offer them a free meal.
The Wood Stork was in trouble for years, but they seem to be increasing in number every year. There is a breeding colony here that does well, although bad weather killed some chicks this year.

Exposure is well handled - the white plumage shows detail as well as the darker areas. Very sharp and nice separation from BG.
