The filter worked well keeping the light soft. I like the look of the sand and waves and the big rock in the distance add interest to the horizon. What a beautiful place. Well done.

Hello Niek,

Lovely shot of the landscape with wonderful harmony of the colors all around!

The sharpness and POV are nearly ideal with natural and soft colors of the cliff are well shown. I like the isolated rocky structure in the BG, it looks so wonderful and gives mood to the picture. Perfect blue sky adds another feather to your crown, indeed!
Overall, a wonderful composition!

Hi Niek,

I remember well the day you took this shot: 1. It was the day we met in person. 2. It made me very jealous and I immediately bought that filter!! I was in the same spot a couple of weeks later and it was so foggy we couldn't see the surf much less Haystack Rock.

It is a super image..good enough to make me get back onto TN! I doubt I'll ever get as fine a shot! Nice work! A+

great to see a seascape from you! Interesting technique you used to get an even long exposure here, the result is excellent.
Fine details front to back from the f/16 and a well chosen POV. I particularly like the cloud hugging the headland in the distance.

Hi niek,

I really like all the different elements of this shot that converge together making an excellent composition.

I particularly like the contrast between the swirling patterns of the sand and the fine detail in the rocky foreground.
