[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Katmai National Park, Alaska.
Bears are gathering here to get fat on salmons to survive long winter. Although Grizzly Bear is not very into gathering in groups, this place and time of the year is special - bears can bear :-) with other bears, but! there are stable hierarchic positions in Brooks falls according to the rule: winner takes it all. Even when younger and smaller bear catched salmon in the area, where other bear considered it as his, salmon was taken from younger bear without any bigger effort.

Lenka,
Thanks for sharing this lovely image showing how the bears take their "positions" for fishing.
This image looks like a 3D image; can amost "feel" the water in MY home.
The tiny seagull captured with the huge bears was a stroke of genius on your part.
Friendly greetings from Mario in Canada.

What a great shot. In the thumbnail the bears looked like rocks. The color, contrast, focus and framing make it a real beauty. I enjoyed your note. Only one of the bears seems interested in your presence. How fortunate you were to capture this moment.

This is a wonderful capture.TFS

Lenka,
This is an excellent photograph. When I saw the thumbnail, I thought it was a very beautiful scene, and that was before I saw the four grizzleys. This is another sight that I hope to get to see someday, and I think that you captured it very well.
