I guess I really liked the pastel blue/purple colors and the overall composition of this capture. These are purple asters.
A Serene and peaceful joy comes to mind... and an old hymn. :)
"Joyful, joyful, we adore thee,
God of glory, Lord of love;
hearts unfold like flowers before thee,
opening to the sun above.
Melt the clouds of sin and sadness;
drive the dark of doubt away.
Giver of immortal gladness,
fill us with the light of day!
All thy works with joy surround thee,
earth and heaven reflect thy rays,
stars and angels sing around thee,
center of unbroken praise.
Field and forest, vale and mountain,
flowery meadow, flashing sea,
chanting bird and flowing fountain,
call us to rejoice in thee."
- Text: Henry Van Dyke
Music: Ludwig van Beethoven
Taken hand-held, 12X zoom fully extended, auto everything, in the shade on a bright sunny day (hence the bluish tones) Instead of trying to adjust for the bluish tones, all I did was add a bit of a warming filter leaving it alone for the most part because I liked the effect. Some other minor PP work. |
