[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I guess I really liked the pastel blue/purple colors and the overall composition of this capture. These are purple asters.

A Serene and peaceful joy comes to mind... and an old hymn. :)

Taken hand-held, 12X zoom fully extended, auto everything, in the shade on a bright sunny day (hence the bluish tones) Instead of trying to adjust for the bluish tones, all I did was add a bit of a warming filter leaving it alone for the most part because I liked the effect. Some other minor PP work.

Hi Larry. I must say this is a relaxing picture with its pastel colours. A very nice compostion. with the blurred BG. Good detail and a bonus with the insects. I always read your notes and understand where you are coming from. Well done TFS.

This reminds me of a fine pastel painting. I agree with you - the colors and the composition are top notch. The Asters are just beautiful and each one has such depth. The blurry background is the perfect finishing touch. Your notes are as beautiful as the picture.
