[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I came across this monarch butterfly as it was on a flower that was growing quite a height above me next to a building... the blue you see here was actually a window just under the eave of the building. The 12X zoom lens was fully extended. I was very pleased with this capture, not only of the gorgeous monarch but also of the flower from its underside. This photo is a great representation of my Christian faith.

Hi Larry. This is a first class close up of this beautiful Butterfly. You have sharp focusing and fine detail. Along with rich colours. This looks 3D on my compuetr. I am going to put this into my favorites list. very well done TFS.

This is simply awesome! What a great clarity you have got in this picture, just marvellous!

Lovely macro capture of the monarch butterfly with great sharpness and taken from a perfect POV. Wonderful use of the shallow DOF. The colors of the butterfly are perfectly shown and the textures very well shown in your picture. I like the eyes of the butterfly. Splendid work!
