Another cabbage white taken in a different location... sun was bright and reflected a lot off the very bright flower making it rather difficult for me to adjust saturation without altering the color.

I debated posting this one but decided to post it anyway to get your critique and thoughts.

Taken hand-held, partially extended 12X zoom lens, auto everything, a decent amount of PP to make it appear more natural... a harder one than normal to work.

Another beauty Larry,
I really like the fine detail and excellent exposure that you captured on the butterfly. I always have trouble with white subjects, but this image shows exceptional wing detail and the white colors are very natural looking. Super job!!

Hi Larry,

This butterfly looks so tiny on the flower! Small as he may be he is very well detailed and his colors are wonderful. I think you made a good decision by emphasizing the colors of the Cabbage White and just letting the flower be. The composition is unusual and wonderful.

Jane
