| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
I have drawn a blank trying to identify the three black ducks in this shot. Their features resemble mallards and they associate with mallards, but the coloration is substantially different. I assume they are some sort of hybrid, but what is the other parent? I have seen at least one other individual with similar coloration at a different lake.
Any thoughts are welcome.
Shot with monopod, PP levels. |

They do seem to have the same shape as the Mallard, but the colours are totally different. Good composition, like a meeting of the ducks. Colours and details are nice and sharp too. Well shown Greg, thank you.
