...the young brown pelican finally gave up his attempts to take off... the breeze from the ocean was not strong enough, and besides, the runway was too short.
He turned his head and gave me the Eye as a sign that the photoshoot was over. I waved goodbye and continued my walk along the beach at Padre Island National Seashore, TX |
