Hello Jim,
A very nice capture of a Yellow-crowned Night Heron taken from a fine lateral POV with good sharpness, colours and eye contact. I would have been tempted to crop it a bit closer with less space on the left, but that's me! The OOF environment provides a fine BG.
Thanks and nice to see you back!
Ivan

Jim
By including the left hand post, the composition is interesting - it keeps your eye moving around the photograph. Without the post, the photograph would be much less interesting. Sharpness and color are also excellent.
Good job!
Peter

Hello Jim,
Beautiful photo of this Yellow-crowned Night-Heron. Great sharpness, naural colours, composition and OOF BG. Good POV.
Regards,
Peter

Hi Jim,
I like VERY much the position of the bird in the right part of the picture: I have watched a lot of waterbirds in the Okavango (wetland/delta in Botswana), and when the are on a pole - like your bird is - they never stay very long; I assume it's quite uncomfortable. That means, he will fly off to the left...

You are really a Master of waterbirds, and the colours are always vibrant.
Great Work!
Regards
Ingrid
