[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
We were driving back through 8 1/2 hours of rain from the North Carolina coast when suddenly, an hour from home, we saw the sun peeking from behind the clouds. I grabbed my camera and shot this through the windshield at 80 mph (seems to be a recent theme with my shots!). I was so happy to see the sun after all those hours of rain.

Hi Alli.. the dark trees in the corner add an interesting diagonal to the composition. The highlighted clouds are nice! Happy to hear that the sun was ready to welcome you home! Rain can be nice, but 8 1/2 hours.... Thanks for sharing!

Amazing photo taken from a moving car, especially at those speeds! I love the hope conveyed in the sun peeking through, well done.
