This poor brown Alaskan bear was shot illegal. Afterwards the bear skin was donated to the Tourist Information Center at Mendenhall Glacier outside Juneau. It is very big.

This is so sad, Monica. When we were in Alaska, we stayed at a place that had polar and grizzly bear hides as part of the decor. It disturbed my daughter so much we had to move rooms so she wouldn't see them. I can imagine this was a tricky shot to get with the lighting.
