| This poor brown Alaskan bear was shot illegal. Afterwards the bear skin was donated to the Tourist Information Center at Mendenhall Glacier outside Juneau. It is very big. |

This is so sad, Monica. When we were in Alaska, we stayed at a place that had polar and grizzly bear hides as part of the decor. It disturbed my daughter so much we had to move rooms so she wouldn't see them. I can imagine this was a tricky shot to get with the lighting.
