Fascinating to see all the previous holes in the tree, some with the remains of the acorns in them. Photographically it would be better closer to the bird, with the bird taking up more of the frame, but this tells the story pretty well as it is.

Very cool picture, Attila. A busy little fellow. Very interesting composition with this tree branch riddled with holes. Great capture of the woodpecker with acorn in beak. Great job, TFS. : )
