These beautifull diaphanous wild flowers bloom every year in this area of Highlands, NC. They subsist entirely off decaying plant matter, usually trees.

I havent seen one of these in years..Although I do hike extensivly in the Highlands area I must breeze right pass them. Thanks for sharing and making relaize I need to be more aware. Love the ghost look it gives off.
