| Don't know what kind this guy is but I am just glad he chose to sit in such a white plant! Taken at a Butterfly exhibition at the Woodland Park Zoo in Seattle. Its a fantastic zoo with well designed exhibits where you don't see the boundaries. Fantastic bear exhibit with salmon in the stream which the bears catch and eat in front of the glass. Anyway, hope you like my alien. I love the proboscis curled up tight! |

a wonderful close-up shot, I like it very much.
Very interesting with the plant and a little unusual, that a butterfly is sitting there, I think?!? The colours are beautiful, a good contrast, thanks for sharing

Sorry I can't help with the ID, but I really like the shot. Great color and detail. The DOF is perfect for this scene. I like how he is working his way thru the plant. A diffrent and unique angle...Nice!
