[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This is my attempt at improving my original image(http://www.treknature.com/gallery/North_America/United_States/photo29986.htm). I was inspired by 'thistle' workshop on my first post(
http://www.treknature.com/workshops/29986/photo4350.htm) I am more impressed with her workshop. I spent a couple hours working in Photoshop.

This image has many technical flaws. However it is one of the most action packed images I have taken. It was taken through a glass window.

Any comments on how I could have improved this image would be appriciated.

Thank you Jeff for taking the trouble to repost the image .It was worth the effort while still not perfect it is very much better the colour and sharpness of the tigers are much better though i would of been tempted to select the bG and treat it slightly less so it faded out they would thenhave stood out even more .
Again thank you taking the time and sharing your work with us. yours Robert

It looks superb Jeff!
It's good that you make the sky in BG blue. I haven't time too work on it but I also thought it would've been good to change it cause it was too bright.
Now the photo has quite exceptional look what along with this action captured creates one of the most interesting shots I've ever seen.
You did great PP job on this!

This is incredible. I can't give any constructive words.

So much better than the old one, still some flaws on the borders of merging colors.

Hello Jeff, in fact you repost ;-) As yesterday, I like your action shot. This Tigers are wonderful !!! I prefer this edited version, but perharps the sky too blue seems unreal... Congratulations Jeff and thanks for sharing here.

Amazing. Very good definition, contrast and collors. Good timing and nice background.

Je ne suis pas d'un avis unanim sur cette photo car je la trouve trop traffiqué a mon gout et je pense que cette image sort plus d'un film d'animation que de la realité.Une photographie vraiment pas naturelle

désolé

I hadn't seen this before it was a featured photo on the homepage.
The original was great but this is even better, with improved saturation and contrast. The blue sky is better but I think it's a little TOO blue and of course, that makes the joins between the foreground and the sky a little 'unreal'. I think if the sky was a little less blue and you experimented with multiple layers and transparency, you might improve it even more. In any case, the main subject still make it a photo to be very proud of!

Jeff, no doubt this is a great moment.

I do enjoy pov and "poses".

Great note too.

I also tried a workshop. In order to do it, I used the first version you had posted.

You're sure deserve 2 big fat smilies for the action shot. Tigers are rare and impressive animals. Nice to see them in the middle of such an action.

But I must say I don't like the workshop at all. The border between sky an grass, between belly and sky are just bad. The area you adjusted together don't merge with eachother. They are artefacts between and we can see exactly the area you selected for changing. Such a change requieres much more time and better tools.
(I liked even less the workshop of Livios)
The pic posted as a original doesn't seems like the real original to me. Especially the end of the tiger on the right. I would be interested in seeing the real original.

This action is great and the tigers are really sharp. It sure deserves to spent time making it better.
