Tattooed Toad
 |
|
| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
This is one tough toad. Check out his left arm.
He is a 'White Lipped' tree frog also known as an Indonesian Giant Green Tree Frog. The image was taken trough a glass aquarium.
From the web
This frog has little suction cups on its toes to allow it to climb or stick to walls. Also, these frogs don't like to be handled. They breathe partially through their skin, so the oil on human hands can damage their skin and hurt them. |

Ha! I love the 'tatoo'! Good shot Jeff. Very well composed and good dof, sharp details and well exposed. The shadows are a bit hard because of the flash, but there was nothing you could do about that I guess. Well done & TFS!

Pieter
Ωραία φωτογραφία Jeff.
Πιστεύω πως έπρεπε να διορθώσεις τα καψίματα από το φλας.

Through glass this is excellent macro work.
I especially love the uniqueness of your specimen.
Well seen
Hi Jeff,
The composition here is excellent. The colors and detail look perfect to me. Interesting subject. Good job flashing this shot thru the glass.
