[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Hi everyone!
Here we go, my first post on TN. I'm new to Macro photography and these photos are my first attempts. All your critiques and comments are welcomed. I know I have a lot learn.
This shot was taken in my neighborhood close to the beach. I think it's a type of Cactus. If anyone knows what plant this is, I appreciate it if he/she let me know.

The specs are below, in addition this was shot hand held and did a little cropping from the right side of the photo.

Nice shot of a strange flower! Well done . I think that it is much better that you do more crop in top of photo . beacuse we can see just a white color in this part. and also your photo need more cotrast.

Nice job for a first macro. I agree that the top needs to be cropped but you did a great job on DOF.

Bonne prise, les couleurs sont jolie et le focus est bien dirigé. Par contre je crois qu'il y a surexposition.

Great first Macro.
An Interesting plant. I like the texture on the seed head.
THe Background is a little over exposed, try and get a darker background to avoid this next time.
I love the subtle colours on the seed.
