[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Up on the Navajo Plateau, the desert meets the short grass prairies. Vegetation is scarce; only small thorny bushes and yellowish grasses. This is the land of Native-americans, the place where nature and civilization blend togheter. From place to place, huge, megalithic rocks break the smoothness of the landscape, trying to rich the sky. This is one of them, called Shiprock peak.

Great picture made into a postcard with the ugly title in the bottom corner.

I also don't like the title but I think it's veery nice. After I'd read your note it was easier to imagine wandering Native-Americans in this scenery.
I posted the workshop without the letters.

Nice light (and shade) here. There is some noise in the sky which could do with some PS work but otherwise I think this is lovely image. I dont mind the title but it would have worked better if the peak had been more to the right. Thanks for sharing!

Hi Petro

Short on time today, but this is an excellent shot. Very well composed. Good use of light. Sharp. clear details. Well done. Thanks.

Bravo. Chiar daca fotografiile perfect centrate nu sunt stilul meu, aici se potriveste foarte bine. Cadrul si inscriptia cred ca sunt cam impunatoare. Marius

I wanted to give this picture some points some time ago but I lost track of it until I was browsing your library, Very Navajo feel to it, doesnt get more "hoka-hey" or Geronimo han this. Foarte misto, Petru! Restul de care se cramponeaza lumea e de mica semnificatie... Mai treci prin West ?

Hi Petru:

Beautiful composition that u show us in this picture... Very well composed, great colors, and nice DOF/POV.

Hugs
Alejandro

Beautiful view! I have spent a short time in Arizona, but never saw this special landscape with its fascinating mountains. Have to go back!

stunning landscape, the photo is like a postcard. great job.

Petru, what a postcard like photograph.
Very nicely framed, with the centre concentrating on the most important object.
Good weather conditions with a small clouds shadow on the mountain, which shows the immensity and the huge size of it.
However I think that the writing 'new mexico' is not very necessary.
Anyways All the best
Artur

It's very nice landscape picture. Focus and exposure are good. Light is beautifull and composition is well balanced. There is just enough land and just enough clouds.
Great shot and TFS.

Nice landscape. Great perspective, good colors.

Hi Petru,
Pleasant composition and a most beautiful sky!
I can feel the hostility of the landscape... beautiful but dangerous!
Good colours and details, great lines...
Greetings,
Pablo -

Hello Petru!
Nice POV, framing and frame! The best are the lights and colours. Well done!

Hello Petru,
Beautiful landscape, typical from a far West movie. Magnific isolated megalith; looks well with the cloud shadow. Nice colours and composition.

Great day to capture an image!
I drove past Shiprock a few years ago after reading about a supposed treasure of buried gold bars nearby. Loved the scenery near 4 corners.
