"Please let me down" ;-)

Osprey with prey

HINT: you can see the head of the fish in the direction of the osprey's stare, about where the "armpit" of the osprey is. The fishhead is grey and so the colour unfortunately blends well with the concrete post it is sitting on. Only part of an eye can be seen. The fishmouth is open as if it was talking.

You can see this much more clearly in my belatedly added WORKSHOP.

What a perfect view of his wing feathers, Gabi. A rather unusual POV. Very exciting photo with sharp details. The asymmetry of the bird due to his posture lends a great deal of intensity to this shot. Well done and TFS. : )

Dinner awaits! I have several shots Osprey, but none yet making that swoop down and catching the fish, buts its a goal I am holding out for. Nice shot, good clarity and detail.

Hi Gabi,
A unique POV on this shot. Excellent colors, and the detail is very sharp. You must have caught him just as he brought dinner home. I am already trying to figure out how I cam get back to Sanibel in the spring for the mating season at Ding Darling. Very nice shot here.
