| I had my first chance in months to trek through the local nature preserve today. Once the eye gets past the seeming sameness of everything clothed in winter garb, there's a lot going on at the macro level -- as, of course, you all know. The "nuts" on this evergreen caught my eye. |

Hi Jim, Thuja plicata (Western Red Cedar) I think well seen, some nice details in the cones and scales of this native conifer. TFS

nice shot of the cedar leaves and seeds,I can almost smell them-ummm!This picture is well focused and has good colour,nicely done.The note that you wrote is well done as well.Points are not everything,in fact they really count for nothing,however you get two from me just the same. Bob
