[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This was an impromptu shot right through the glass of my studio window. There has been no enhancement of the color. The reason the trees look rough is because Oregon has such a wet climate that the trees are covered with moss and lichen. Winter deciduous trees here are far from dull and drab. They are covered with green mosses and silvery lichen.

You should never complain about Oregon again. : P
The palette of colors is outstanding, and the frilly moss and lichen add so much interest and delicacy to the stark silhouette of the trees. An absolute treat for the eyes and a soothing balm for the mid. Thank you. : )
