This is a wonderful capture of these beautiful cactus flowers. The composition and colours are truly superb. I like how the cactus frames the photo and the way its flowers are positioned diagonally. Well seen and captured!

I like the vertical composition Petru. Good detail and sharpness. Just a bit OE on the white with the hard light and shadow. You know, I've never used a 35mm camera before..

There is little time to capture these blooming..Well shown here. The sunlight was bright, but you did a good job taming it. Vivid colors and nice sharp detail. Excellent notes. Well done!

This must be saguaro week, Petru. I just posted a picture of a saguaro cactus the other day. They are truly fascinating plants. I really like this shot of the flowers, since I am not sure I got to see the saguaro in bloom. The white flowers are a bit OE, but I can imagine how hard it is in that harsh bright sun. Well done and TFS. : )

A very good image. The contrast in this image must have been a fight to expose everything as tight as you have it. You may have wanted to use (1) F stop further to sharpen the main trunk of the cactus on the left side, other than that, an excellent picture...

Good shot with great composition and colours.
Guess the strange vertical stripes result from the scanner, as you used film (red stripes and only in dark green bits, the blue sky is perfect). Otherwise a beautiful image with good visual impact.

imi place poza asta: e f. reusita compozitia si culorile formeaza raporturi interesante.

sunt insa curioasa: se vad niste dungulite verticale pigmentate. n-ai putea sa le scoti la post-procesare cumva? sau poate tocmai din cauza asta au aparut?

Well composed with good color and a nice example showing both flowers and buds.

It should be noted that a Saguaro blossom is open for less than one day. It is short lived, even by cactus standards. It opens at night and permanently closes by mid-afternoon the next day.
