I like this image with the busy foreground as it shows the true feeling of the landscape and not one that makes a person believe that it is innocent and free of difficulty and hardships to manuever.
I don't know what F-Stop you used but you might have gone about 2 stops deeper and caught the focus throughout the scene.
Great rock formations, color and sky...
