Critiques [Translate]

Nice capture, Jorge! I love that dappled light. My guess on the ID would be a female or juvenile Painted Bunting, but I am better with our familiar north-western birds, so it is just a guess.

My Stokes Field Guide to Birds let me down on this one...;-( Can't be too happy about that...;-( But, at least you took a nice picture! I like bird pictures...;-)
Shelley (shyanni) may be right: female Painted Bunting. Where did you take the picture? That could possibly help with the ID...

That doesn't look like any of our native birds. The beak is wrong for a bunting. It could be an escaped exotic, and in FL, that wouldn't be that unusual.
