A young turkey vulture, handsome as Steve Buscemi in a good day. This is the most common vulture to be encountered in the American deserts, when mature their colors change, feathers turn darker from the puerile blue grey, and the skin excess mug gets red. Shortly, this is one of the very few animals that looks cuter when adult, if cute can ever apply to a vulture, rather regarded as a morbid sight for human ignorance. I like them, they mean a good equilibrium in nature and I find them bizarre maybe but repulsive not at all...

The thing that I always thought to be most interesting is that the New World vultures are in fact closely related to storks!!! Not to true vultures... Can you imagine!?
