Cottonwood sunrise
| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
| I was home visiting my family in Colorado over Christmas and as we got up early one morning to go skiing the cloudy sky was lit up with bright orange from the rising sun. I grabbed my camera pointed up into the branches of a cottonwood in the backyard, taking care to avoid the suburban houses encroaching on the bottom of the frame and hit the shutter. I had time to get about three shots before the color faded. Aside from a SLIGHT adjustment in the levels, this is the original image. |
